Software introduction

"I never said the Methodists hadn't common sense, Captain. What I say is, I doubt if they have much religion."
After an E3 that seemed to suggest the Battle Royale craze was dying down, The Tetris Company (in collaboration with N3TWORK) has only gone and announced Tetris Royale, a totally original concept that has definitely never been done, no sir.

Tetris, if you didn't know, tasks you with rapidly rotating and adjusting a procession of what are known as Tetriminos to create horizontal rows that are then cleared from the board. Once your Tetriminos extend beyond the top of the board, it's game over.
&#;

It’s also coming to Ouya.

Our review of Joe Danger on iOS gave it a Gold Award for its humor, challenge, and “massively rewarding” gameplay.

Just as Joe Danger on iOS was itself a ground-up re-creation of its original PlayStation 3 version, Joe Danger on Android is also more than just a mere port.

It offers 80 levels, touchscreen and Android controller support, 29 playable characters, a Daily Challenge mode, and online scoreboards.

Check out our Joe Danger video review below for a better look at the gameplay.

    &#;迷宫破解版(mod) MOD APK
Dentures and Demons 2 is a sequel to Sui Arts' previous adventure game. It's available now for Android devices and will see players heading off on another adventure filled with black humour, sarcasm and generally a host of subjects that you may find offensive.

Following the events of the first game, Detective Junior Peexelated has been promoted to Sergeant and everyone in Varedze City is safe following the defeat of the evil Dentures sect, at least for a while anyway. Your phone suddenly rings in the middle of the night and you'll have to save the city once again.

Rome: Total War – Alexander, Feral Interactive's port of the classic strategy expansion, is available now for both iOS and Android. There's also an update for the iPad version of the game too that brings several quality of life improvements.

Rome: Total War – Alexander is often viewed as the biggest test for Rome players, originally being designed to provide new challenges for those who've already conquered the base game and Barbarian Invasion. We reviewed the iPad version when it released a couple of years back and found it to be an essential purchase for fans of the Rome series.

The iOS and Android version of the game promises to deliver players the full experience that the original PC Total War – Alexander offered but with a completely redesigned UI that's more suitable for phones. Additionally, the iPhone version will be available as a free update if you already own the iPad version, which is good for any strategy aficionados who may have already picked the game up.

Remember Frogger? Crossy Road is just like that classic arcade game, except its creators call it a "froguelike".

There aren't many roguelike features in Crossy Road, admittedly. But you can see where studio Hipster Whale is coming from.

You tap to make your frog hop forward endlessly across busy roads and logs flowing down rivers. Each of these environments are randomly generated as you proceed, so that's one roguelike element to check off.

The other is permadeath which, well, is found in most arcade games, to be fair. Nevertheless, it'll have you cursing as you get splatted by a truck and just miss out on a new high score.

Your score is increased by hopping forward, but you can also pick up coins by swiping sideways to get to them.

My favourite feature of Crossy Road are the different character options. There are frogs, goats, zombies, unicorns, capybaras, dogs, and wizards.

The pigeon is probably the best one. It, er, drops little white pixels behind it on the ground, and makes a lot of rude sounds. Yes, it's a fart joke.

Crossy Road a fun little game; a worthy rehash of Frogger, I'd say. It should be coming to iOS by the end of September.

Hipster Whale hopes to bring it to as many other platforms as possible, too.

It'll be free to play but Hipster Whale says it will be "fair and ethical", stating that there will be "a max cap players can pay in real money."

You can keep an eye on Crossy Road's progress on its website.
